Sales Representative - Parcels (West Coast)
We are looking to add high energy, disciplined sales professionals to our Parcels Logistics team as well as our Trade Management Team selling to mid-size and small businesses.The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business with Kewill as well as ongoing interaction with existing Kewill Inc customers for additional sales opportunities. The expectation of travel will be approximately 40-50%.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

Proactively searches for new systems opportunities in an assigned geographic territory through the effective use of target marketing, networking and cold-calling.

Contacts existing customers on a regular basis for add-on business opportunities.

Remains knowledgeable of company's products/services to facilitate sales efforts.

Maintains sales records and prepares sales reports as required via Salesforce.com.

Maintains a regular schedule of contact with customers and prospective customers via phone and on-site visits

Updates customers on new or improved products and services

Works closely with the Solutions Team, Finance, Professional Services, Marketing, and Legal to close deals
Required Skills/Experience:
-
Minimum 3 – 5 years of demonstrated success selling software solutions; experience selling supply chain management, global shipping and trade and logistics solutions preferred

Willingness to work within the prescribed Kewill sales process

Value based selling a strong plus.

Demonstrated ability to quickly understand the needs of the prospect, develop a workable solution proposal, and present this proposal in a cohesive, aggressive manner to the prospect

Proven ability to demonstrate product capabilities and features

Proven record of quota achievement

Demonstrated ability to successfully forecast potential deals on a semi monthly, monthly and quarterly basis

Demonstrated ability to successfully build a strong pipeline of future business

Successful experience working with a Sales Automation tool ; experience with SalesForce.com is a plus

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with individuals at all levels both within and outside of Kewill Inc. both by telephone and face to face

Self motivated with the ability to keep motivated even during long or tough sales cycle

Ability to work under minimal supervision

Excellent understanding of business issues and goals

Bachelors’ Degree preferred
