Joining the Bureau

To add your account to the Kewill EDI Bureau Service you need to fill in a Bureau Registration & Packing Method & Credit Application Form. Once this has been completed you need to return them to the Bureau using the contact details provided.

Summary of Process:

1. Complete Registration / Packing Method & Credit Application Forms
2. Fax/Post/Email back to Kewill Bureau
3. Kewill Bureau will process information to Bhs
4. Bhs will set up your account with Product Details/Contracts
5. Product Details/Contracts/Availability template emailed to Supplier
6. You are now ready to declare your first available stock

Technical Requirements

Hardware
1. A computer or device that is capable of receiving emails with large attachments.
2. An Internet connection.
  i. A broadband internet connection is recommended as attachments may be quite large.
3. A printer available to the computer; either a local or network printer capable of printing black and white A4 documents. A laser printer is recommended, please view our great deals.

Software
1. Email software and email account that can handle attachments e.g. Outlook, Outlook Express, Thunderbird.
  i. The email account needs to be active and checked every weekday.
  ii. The email account needs to have a mailbox of at least 5MB in size as the attachments may be quite large.
2. Adobe Acrobat Reader 5 or above. This is free software that can be downloaded from www.adobe.com
3. Firewall and Anti Virus software. These will help prevent the spread of viruses.
4. Office Software. Microsoft Office or OpenOffice.org. OpenOffice is a free Open Source alternative to Microsoft Office that will allow you to fill in forms on the screen, print them out and then fax them back. You can also use the "Calc" spreadsheet software to enter the availability and save as CSV before emailing back.

Other
1. A computer literate user. We would also recommend a backup user that would be able to cover holidays, and other times of absence.
2. You will need to ensure that you have you own Support structure in place for any hardware/software that you use. Kewill Bureau will be unable to assist in any technical difficulties.
