10+2 Resources

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is requiring additional data from U.S. importers and carriers. CBP believes the additional information will enhance the Automated Targeting System for cargo screening.

The proposed ruling, commonly known as 10+2, requires both importers and carriers to submit additional cargo information before cargo is loaded onto an ocean vessel bound for the United States.

While CBP has yet to identify an implementation date for this ruling Kewill is already working hard to prepare its customers for these changes.
