2 July 2007
Alexandria, Va., U.S. and Sale, Cheshire, U.K. – July 2, 2007 – Agentrics, a leading provider of sourcing, collaboration and product lifecycle management solutions to the retail industry, today announced a partnership with Kewill Systems, a leading provider of supply network and business integration solutions, to offer Agentrics collaboration and data synchronisation solutions to retailers and consumer packaged goods suppliers in the U.K.
“Agentrics works directly with many of the region’s largest retailers, including Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Marks & Spencer, and the Kewill relationship will help to extend our value to a wider audience of retailers and thousands of suppliers throughout the region,” said Fabiano Aguilar, Agentrics vice president, Europe. “As more and more retailers and suppliers start to share product information through the Global Data Synchronisation Network, Kewill will expand our penetration by providing seamless access for its clients through the Agentrics GDSN-certified data pool.”
Agentrics solutions support collaboration and item data synchronisation between retailers and manufacturers to improve planning and forecasting, master item data, supplier scorecarding and overall business relationships.
“Kewill supports thousands of suppliers as they trade electronically with retail partners, and we are always looking for ways to add value to our existing customer base,” said Jacquie Boast, Kewill chief marketing officer. “This new partnership with Agentrics will give us the ability to ensure our customers can effectively trade based on GDSN standards-driven data. The U.K. retail market is highly competitive, and retailers and their suppliers are already discovering the benefits gained through better collaboration and higher quality data sharing.”
