The new product release significantly eases compliance risks by performing mandated government and corporate screening for restricted parties, embargoed countries, export license determination, and import license/permit requirements.
“Companies are looking for ways to effectively mitigate the compliance risks inherent in doing business globally; ensuring shipments are not made to denied or restricted parties and appropriate licenses are in place before shipments,” said Chris Aldrich, product manager for Kewill. “The Kewill ECS solution flexibly fits into a global shipper’s export processes to accelerate exports and help reduce costs.”
The latest version adds several features and enhancements that align with needs of global shippers. In addition to the extended country content, new features include:
- More options to refine denied party screening sensitivity that include customer-specific red-flag words and improved address screening
- Enhancements to pre-approved list (white list) maintenance and re-screening results
- Updated handling of ENC license exception determination via the ECS user interface
