Service Electronics Inc. Uses Flagship to Increase Speed and Reliability of shipping Operations

Marlborough, MA - Kewill (LSE: KWL), the leader in enterprise shipping management software and services, today announced that Service Electronics Inc. (SEI), a solution and service provider for after sale support of computers and technology products, selected Kewill Flagship to establish a consistently efficient and fast-working electronic shipping management process for the company.
Kewill Flagship is a multi-carrier shipping management system that provides a single electronic source for accessing and service-shopping domestic parcel carriers, while also providing access to the broadest set of parcel carriers in the industry serving international requirements. Ninety percent of SEI shipments are domestic and ten percent are international. "Prior to our adoption of Kewill, we were faced with an inadequate shipping system that was cumbersome to use, slow in processing transactions, and only actually working 90 percent of the time," said Michael May, IT Director for SEI. "And we couldn’t do our international shipping electronically, so all the paperwork for those shipments had to be done manually. Today, our fulfillment operations operate much faster and more efficiently and both domestic and international shipments can be managed with one simple Flagship interface. We’re really happy with Kewill and their quality of service." With the increased efficiency gained from Kewill Flagship, SEI consolidated its shipping stations down from twelve to eight stations and dramatically decreased the company’s previous shipping management system expense of frequently needed technical support. SEI anticipates a complete return on investment within 9 months of adopting the Kewill solution.
